How Man, 50, Kidnapped & Killed Daughter, 15, For Money Rituals

A 50-year old man, Dauda Ibrahim, has landed in trouble for allegedly conspiring and kidnapping his 15-year old daughter, Sherifah, then killing and removing some of her vital organs for money ritual purposes while burying the remaining parts of her body in a shallow grave.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Idah town, Idah Local Government Area of Kogi State, where Ibrahim resides.
Police operatives from the Kogi State Command have arrested Ibrahim and detained him. He is currently undergoing interrogations over the alleged dastardly act of kidnapping and killing of his 15-year old daughter, Sherifah, for ritual purpose.
This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Williams Ayah, who said that the suspect and his accomplice are in Police custody.
He stated that the suspect, who is a staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, in the Department of Works and Fire Services unit, was alleged to have conspired with two other people, Isah Adams and one Adah, to perpetrate the nefarious act.
SP Ayah stated that the the late Sherifah was said to have been kidnapped on August 4, 2022, at their residence in Okenya along Itayi Street, Igalamela/Odolu Local Government area of the State.
The girl’s remains were discovered in a shallow grave a few days after her disappearance with the body mutilated and some vital organs missing.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka, has ordered an investigation into the case of an alleged kidnap, killing and disappearance of body parts of a young lady, identified as Miss Sherrifah, a 15-year old girl in Idah by her father” he said.
He added that the Police will conduct a thorough investigation into the matter to establish the circumstances leading to the kidnap and death of the deceased.
The suspects risks life imprisonment if they are tried and found guilty before the Court for murder but the prosecution will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
