How Man Kidnapped Boy, 3 & Buried Him Alive Over Parent’s Inability To Pay N800, 000 Ransom

Facts have emerged how a man,  Abubakar Abdul’ziz, allegedly kidnapped and buried a 3-year old boy alive over his parent’s inability to pay N800,000 ransom in Katsina State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened and the suspect was arrested on 12th April, 2023 at Sabuwar Santa, Musawa LGA of Katsina State, where he resides.
Police operatives from the Katsina State Command arrested Abubakar Abdul’ziz, and detained him for the cruel murder of the victim and he is undergoing interrogation over the dastardly conduct.
This was disclosed by the Katsina State Police Public Relation Officer, CSP Gambo Isah, who confirmed that the suspect was in Police custody undergoing interrogation.
“The fact of the case is that on the 23rd of March 2023, at about 0100hrs, the suspect criminally trespassed into the residence of one Adamu Alhassan, m, of Bacirawa village, Musawa Local Government Area, Katsina State, while he was deep asleep, and kidnapped his three (3)-year old son to an unknown destination.”
“He dropped a letter directing the said Adamu Alhassan to pay a ransom of N800,000 and provided a contact phone number. However, the boy’s father made contact, negotiated, and paid the sum of N150,000 to secure the release of his child, but to no avail.”
CSP Isah further stated that upon receipt of the report, State detectives swung into action and succeeded in arresting the suspect and detained him for investigation.
He said that in the course of the investigation, the suspect confessed to committing the crime and further confessed to have buried the child alive after receiving the ransom.
He informed that investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be be charged before the Court for kidnapping and murder under the Criminal law of the State but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
