A housewife, Mrs. Abosede, has narrated before the Court how her husband, Pastor Abayomi, impregnated a young lady, who is a member of their church and destroyed their 25 years old marriage in Oyo State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that, her husband,  Pastor Abayomi, filed a suit before  Grade A Customary Court in Mapo, Ibadan, Oyo State, asking the Court to dissolve his marriage with Abosede because she was troublesome and unbearable as such he does not want to live with her again.
However, Mrs. Abosede has narrated a devastating Counter-Narrative, which shifted the blame entirely to her embattled husband before the Court.
The embittered Abosede told the Court about a shocking scandal as the true reason for the marital breakdown.
She revealed that her world was shattered when she discovered that her husband, a man of God, had impregnated a young lady within their church congregation. She stated that the pregnancy was the catalyst that turned their home into a battlefield.
“My hope for a heavenly union with a pastor was brutally dashed by Pastor Abayomi’s actions. Following the discovery of the paternity of the pregnancy, our relationship deteriorated into constant heated arguments.”
Contrary to his claims of being a victim of her temper, she asserted that he abandoned her during a period of illness, showing no care for her well-being.
She further clarified that she did not lock him out of their home as he alleged; instead, he voluntarily moved in with the church member after she gave birth to his child.
Her words: “I believed that marrying a pastor would make my marriage feel like heaven on earth, but my husband proved me wrong. I got the shock of my life when I learnt that my husband had impregnated a member of his church congregation. Hell was let loose and things started to fall apart in our home.”
“He moved to the lady’s house after she was delivered of his baby. He frustrated every attempt made by our relatives, friends, and his co-pastors to reconcile us. He told them he was no longer interested in our marriage,” she added.
