A 40-year old human body parts dealer, Mutiu Abdul-Rasheed, has made a shocking revelation on how they source and sell human body parts for their numerous customers, who need them for ritual purposes.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Abdul-Rasheed, made the revelation after he was caught and paraded with fresh human hands and other body parts as exhibits in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He said that he belonged to a syndicate, which sources fresh human body parts for some people and they exhume bodies of known people.

On how they operate to get those parts to satisfy the demands of their clients, he said that they target corpses and get enough information before exhuming at night.

“We only exhume bodies that are known to us because we must know the dead person when he or she was alive. We must also know his or her name as well as the mother’s name.Knowing the mother’s name of the dead person that we want to sell the body parts attracts extra cost from those that buy the human parts from us” he said.

The suspect has been in the business before the creation of Amotekun, which trailed and arrested him.

The Commandant of Amotekun Corps in the state, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (Rtd), told journalists that the suspect was investigated for some months before he was apprehended.
He said some unnamed individuals have been “mounting pressure on him to release the suspect”.

Items recovered from the suspect included guns, charms, decaying body parts, motorcycles and a car. Col. Olayanju assured residents that the suspect would be handed over to the Police for further investigation.
The suspect had since been handed over to the Police with the exhibits for prosecution.
