The die is cast and the stage is set as people from all walks of life will converge to celebrate Ebira culture on that day.

His Royal Highness himself told PM EXPRESS in an exclusive interview that it was the wish of God for him to be chosen for a call to serve his people.

The retired Nigeria Air Force officer said that the coronation day will be historic as it be as if they are celebrating Ebira day.

“We are going to showcase our culture to the world with funfare, ” he said.

On his plan as soon as the coronation is over, His Highness Awe said that his immediate task is to unite all the Ebira living in Lagos.

” I want to ensure that we live in harmony and be a good citizens of Lagos State. I will bring my people closer to the government. We have been here in Lagos for more than two decades and I believe we should play a crucial role in the development of where we are residing.

“I will also ensure that our people co-exist peacefully with other tribes in Lagos. The role I played for the Non Indigenes Forum in Lagos to give me a Royal Ambassador of Peace award in 2003 will come to play here because I’m a detribalise person.

“On the coronation day, the cultural values of the three senatorial districts in Kogi State will be showcased. I have the belief that the new Ohinoyi’s first task will be to unite all the aggrieved people and reach out to the government of Lagos State because we have been neglected for a very long time in the state. ”
