Billionaire business mogul, philanthropist and community leader, High Chief Johnbosco Chukwuma Ozigbu, PhD (Ogwuaga of Ogwuaga), has distanced himself from the race for the Orlu Senatorial District seat in the coming election or future contests.
High Chief Ozigbu, an illustrious son of Abba in Nwangele LGA, Imo West Senatorial District, who has a best selling book on Amazon rated by CNN to his credit, made the disclosure following discussions stirred in the social and political circles concerning his rumoured interest in the seat presently occupied by former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The renowned philanthropist, who has developed many communities, built homes for the less privileged and empowered many, said, “I don’t have interest in running for the Orlu Senate seat; not now and not even in the nearest future”.
“I want to live a private life, face my business and contribute my little quota towards community building and human capital development.”
“I don’t have interest in politics for the record time. People should therefore, desist from dragging my name into political contests as I’ve not indicated interest at any point” High Chief Ozigbu concluded.
