he was tired of her husband, Obinna, and so he poisoned his food in order

Obiora.
It was gathered that after she had poisoned her husband, she started having
nightmares, confessed to her husband’s family and she was handed over to the Police.
“I
killed my husband because I was tired of him; I don’t love him again. I hate
seeing him around me; I really don’t know the reason for that but I just didn’t
want him anymore. I preferred going back to my ex- lover” she said.
The suspect, Mrs. Nkechi, said that the hatred started from the day he called
her an empty barren, saying she must have had several abortions in her previous
relationships which made it difficult to bear a child.

She told the Police that since her husband passed away she had been having sleepless nights.
“I
see his spirit and it’s always scary. Most times, I dream about him and in my
dream he always tries to kill me. So, I had to confess to his family who came
to arrest me”.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Mrs. Nkechi is now facing a murder charge which attracts
life imprisonment if she is tried and found guilty before the Court over the
