A Progressive youth and member of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Akanbi Ige Paul (Omologo), has stated that he is standing with the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2, Hon Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK).

He stated this on the occasion of the birthday celebration of the APC National Leader and that of the respected legislator.

Part of his message read:”I, Comrade Akanbi Ige Paul (Omologo), a prominent member of Progressive family, even as a child in the days of SDP in 1992/1993.”

“The first echo of politics got to my hearing in 1992/1993 election between M.K.O Abiola (SDP) and Alhaji Toda (NRC), and the result was in favour of my beloved Progressive party but was annulled by the then Military Head of State (General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida) to splash dust on the face of every Progressive member and supporters, most especially the Southwest members and supporters.”

“The struggle continued in 1999 but the show was stolen by the Democratic party (PDP). But Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from the days of AD, AC, ACN and now the current ruling party, APC, brought back the long withheld mandate by forming coalition to produce a strong progressive party (APC). He was part of Lagos State campaign team, which led the progressive party to victory at National stage and moved power to the North both in 2015 and 2019.”

“2023 will indicate the great review of 30 years of held mandate and total victory for the Southwest progressive supporters.”  “I, Comrade Akanbi Ige Paul (Omologo), is in total support of “Ark Unlimited”.

“Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu stands out as a key member of the Lagos State House of Assembly and has sponsored many bills since he assumed office in 2015.”

“Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu was given an award as the Leader of the Year 2020 by Money Entertainment for his great performance at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and EndSARS saga.”  “ARK’s touch on Empowerment, Education and Health Sector can’t be over pronounced.” “His touches had been of great benefits to both the old and young in Ikeja Constituency 2.”
