According to the communiqué released after the meeting, members resolved to mobilize resources to ensure the convention brings all members of the 1983 set together in unity, brotherhood, and service to their alma mater.
The ₦5 million fundraising target, according to the class, will cover logistics, venue, souvenirs, welfare, and legacy projects to be executed in Immaculate Conception Seminary, Ahieke during the convention. The event is scheduled to hold later in the year in Umuahia and will mark 43 years since the class graduated from the prestigious seminary.

“We are proud of what ICS Lagos branch has achieved. For years, this branch has been the engine room that keeps the class together. Through regular meetings, support for members, and projects for the seminary, we have shown that the spirit of ICS is alive in us,” he said.
