Igbo APC Unveils Multi-Million Naira Party Secretariat In Lagos

It was celebration galore in Lagos State at the weekend for the members of Igbo APC over the unveiling a mult-million Naira new Party Secretariat known as Igbo House in the State.

The Igbo House was unveiled by the BOT Chairman of Igbo APC, Chief Anselm Udoka, popularly known as Orobo, who singlehandedly acquired the Secretariat along Oshodi/Mile 2 Expressway by NEPA Bus Stop in Lagos.

Though the Igbo House is not yet fully completed but it attracted attention of the supreme leader of Ndigbo in Lagos State, Ezendigbo, Eze Christian Nwachukwu, President of Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Sunday Eze, Ezendigbo, Oriade, Eze Chukwukadibia, who visited the House for routine inspection.

During the inspection, Eze Christian Nwachukwu expressed his happiness and gave Royal blessing to Chief Anselm Udoka for facilitating the Secretariat, which he described as strategic to position of the Igbo APC in the State.

He noted that the Igbo have now gotten a permanent place, where they can converged to discuss the affairs of the Igbo in Lagos.

“The era of holding APC Party meetings in private houses is over and I enjoin all the Igbo APC members to accept Chief Udoka as their leader because he has demonstrated leadership by providing an Igbo Secretariat in the State” Eze Nwachukwu said.

Chief Udoka, who also used the venue to empower hundreds of Igbo widows, children and less privileged people by sharing palliatives, thanked Eze Nwachukwu and other important Igbo leaders who visited the new Secretariat for inspection. He noted it was the beginning of good things coming for Ndigbo in Lagos State.

He said the Secretariat was achieved through his personal efforts with that of some eminent Igbos in order to make it a reality.
He promised to continue to work for the interest of Igbo in Lagos State and directed that the Igbo APC meetings will be at the Secretariat pending when it will be commissioned by the Governor and party leaders in the State.

Some palliatives shared by Chief Anselm Udoka included bags of rice, tomatoes, custard and others, which were extended to the beneficiaries, who expressed happiness for the gesture by Udoka and APC Party.

Eze Nwachukwu, while speaking further, said Chief Anselm Udoka had resolved so many issues to stabilize Igbo APC in Lagos State and stated the Igbo have finally gotten a leader and urged them to support Udoka’s leadership for more benefits for the Igbo in Lagos State.
