The Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr.) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, was hosted by the Igbo Community under the umbrella of Obasa Movement, Igbo Chapter in the State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the event was organized by the Coordinator of Obasa Movement, Ndigbo Chapter, Lagos, Chief Solomon Chukwu, during the end of the year party at Agege area of Lagos, where Obasa was the Special Guest of Honour.
The event had in attendance Eze Ndigbo Lagos State, Eze Christian Uchechukwu Nwachukwu, Hon. Olaniyi Salau, APC LG Chairman, Orile-Agege, Chief Olabisi Odeomu, the General Coordinator, The Obasa Movement and many other dignitaries.
During the event, Rt. Hon. Obasa got assurance of the Igbo support for APC in the State and the commitment to support him in his future political activities in the State.
The leader of Obasa Movement, Igbo Chapter, Chief Solomon Chukwu, MD/CEO Solochuks Group, said that they formed the movement because the Igbo believe in Obasa’s leadership qualities and he is a detribalized man, who will protect the interest of Ndigbo in the State.
