Independent Media Support Organisation (IMSO –Obiano 2017) in association with Igbo Film Forum Nollywood is set to honour the wife of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, Chief (Mrs.) Ebelechukwu Obiano with the prestigious award; “Nneoma Ndigbo Na Nollywood”.
According to Ogbuefi Comr. Harris Chuma, Executive Director, IMSO-Obiano 2017, Chief Sir Victor Umeh will be also installed as the Life Patron of the Ndigbo Nollywood and honoured with the prestigious title; “Odogwu Ndigbo Nollywood.”
The distinguished personalities will be honoured during the annual Nollywood Igbo Festival Of Arts & Culture holding on 27 August 2017 between 3pm and 10pm at Maybond Hotel Ltd, Unizik Junction, Awka, Anambra State.
The Festival is intended to help film makers reach their broadest possible audience, enable the film community and general public to experience the power of cinema and promote Anambra State as a major film making center.
The high point of the festival will be official endorsement and show of solidarity for Governor Willie Obiano’s re-election bid.
Other features of the grand event are Lecture, courtesy visits, New Yam Festival and Cultural Displays, etc.
