The Board of Trustees of the Igbo Speaking Community has finally rectified and reconfirmed Eze Prosper Chukwuka as Ezendigbo Gburugburu following the isssurance of  the certificate of reconfirmation by the BOT led by their Chairman, Dr Jonathan Nnaji, which took place in Lagos State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that this came up on the heels of calls by Eze Chukwuka to all Ndieze in Lagos State for total support for the Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo, Eze Ogbawodikeizu Nwalozie.

The certificate was presented to Eze Chukwuka by the BOT Chairman,  Dr Nnaji, recently in line with the earlier decision of Igbo Speaking community stakeholders and BOT meeting held at their secretariat in Surulere, Lagos.

The reconfirmation has now placed Eze Chukwuka among the recognized Ezendigbo of the Igbo Speaking community and BOT in Lagos State.

The BOT Chairman, Dr Nnaji, had earlier declared that any Ezendigbo that had no record on the Board in line with the constitution cannot be recognized by the Igbo Speaking community, Lagos State.

Dr Nnaji also declared that the only Council of Ezendigbo recognized by Igbo Speaking Community and BOT in Lagos State is the one led by Ezendigbo of Ikeja,  Eze Nwalozie, whose election was duly conducted with the executives inaugurated by then president, now Eze Ebere Ubani and observed by the BOT.

Eze Chukwuka had earlier been presented with a certificate of recognition as Ezendigbo Gburugburu by the Igbo Speaking community led by President, Sunday Eze and was reconfirmed by BOT.

While acknowledging the new position as Ezendigbo Gburugburu, Eze Chukwuka stated that he accepted the position which poses greater responsibility and he was willing to serve Ndigbo both in Nigeria and diaspora in that capacity.

He explained that he had already started the work by trying to bring all Ndieze of Igbo Speaking community in Lagos State under the leadership of Eze Nwalozie’s Council of Ndieze recognized by the BOT.

Eze Prosper Chukwuka is a renowned successful businessman with several conglomerates and a super philanthropist, who has used his wealth to touch the lives of the less privileged in the society without ethnic considerations in touching lives.

For his outstanding contributions for humanity,  Eze Chukwuka has received many chieftaincy titles before he became Ezendigbo Gburugburu. Some of the chieftaincy titles included Akubuike, Ego Bu Oga, Ogbuagu, Obata Obie and many others.

Eze Prosper Chukwaka has received several awards both in Nigeria and internationally for his contributions for the development of the society.  He is married with children.
