Chief Udeh enjoined the executives and indeed members of the community to give the electoral committee maximum support for them to deliver and conduct election in all the Local Council Areas.

He also stated that the dissolved Chairmen of the 57 LCDAs will be acting pending the conduct of election in order not to create a vaccum in the LCDA.

In his acceptance speech, Chief Njoku thanked the new executives led by Udeh for reposing confidence in him and promised that the electoral committee will conduct free and fair elections in all the Council areas.
He noted that the election was necessary as peace has been restored in the community in order to consolidate and build a new Igbo Speaking Community with unity among the members.
Chief Njoku used the occasion to commend Chief Udeh and Chief Sunday Eze, who had been fighting over the leadership of the community for the sacrifices made to come together to form a united Community.
He explained that he accepted to lead the Electoral Committee because peace has returned to the community and conducting the election will enhance the unity of the Igbo Speaking community in the State.
He urged other Igbo organizations, which are in crisis to emulate the Igbo Speaking Community to get united and build peace among themselves for all groups to come together for the progress of Ndigbo in the State.
He urged that now that there is no factions in the community there is every need for the Ndigbo traditional rulers (Ezendigbo) to come together under one umbrella.
