Igbo Speaking Community’s President General, Chief Sunday Udeh Offers Thanksgiving For Successful Election

The President General of Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Sunday Udeh, has shown appreciation and gratitude to God for successful election and inauguration of the new Executives of the Community in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Thanksgiving was held at St. Mulumba and David Catholic Church, Lawanson,  Surulere, Lagos on 12th October, 2025.
It was attended by his family, friends, wellwishers and some of the new Executives and members of the Igbo Speaking Community.
Chief Sunday Udeh may have started on a good note in the administration of the Igbo Speaking Community,Lagos by showing gratitude to God, thanking Him for what He had done and asking God for protection and wisdom to lead the community.
Speaking on the Thanksgiving, Chief Sunday Udeh explained that he did so to appreciate God for what he has done to his family and the successful election and inauguration of new Executives of Igbo Speaking community, Lagos State.
He recalled that the community has been in crises over the years and God in His infinite mercy decided to bring peace  and new executives emerged in a fair and transparent election, which he emerged as the President General.
“This is shared stories of God’s goodness and faithfulness. We remembered the prayers that were answered, the mountains that were moved, and the struggles that were overcome. Most of all, we gave thanks for the gift of the community, for the body of Christ that surrounds us, and for the love that binds us together. May this Thanksgiving day be a reminder of the enduring love of God and the joy of fellowship with one another.”
“Today, I want to share a story of gratitude from my own heart. Over the years, the Igbo Speaking Community’s leadership struggle has been tough, with challenges that tested my faith and pushed me to my limits. But in the midst of it all, I saw God’s hand at work. I saw Him provide for my needs, comfort me in my struggles, and strengthen me in my weaknesses.”
“As I reflect, I am grateful to God for what He has done in the Igbo Speaking Community by restoring peace and bringing the new leadership, which I am the chief servant” Chief Udeh stated.
