Ike Cubana Flags Off Massive Health Campaign In Idemili South, Advocates For Mass Distribution & Use Of Treated Nets

Placing the health of the people above all other factors to be tackled when elected as a Member of the House of Representatives, Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, in the 2023 general election, the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Chief Ikenna Obumneme Iyiegbu (IKE CUBANA), has advocated for the mass distribution campaign of Insecticide Treated Nets in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The flag-off of the campaign, which took place on Saturday, 6th of August, 2022 at Oba Civic Centre, Idemili South LGA, was organized by the Idemili South LGA in a collaboration with the Anambra State Ministry of Health & Malaria Consortium.
In an address of welcome, presented by the newly appointed Transition Committee (T.C) Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi (Iyom Idemili), who came with her Council members to witness the Flag Off Ceremony, thanked the Anambra State Ministry of Health and Malaria Consortium, as well as the distinguished people of Idemili South L.G.A, for bringing such a wonderful campaign to the doorstep of Ndi Idemili.
Hon Mrs. Obi further eulogized Chief Ikenna Obumneme Iyiegbu for the impact and advocates of healthy Anambra in general and also encouraged the good people of Idemili South L.G.A to unanimously tap into the anticipated new wave of positive representation at the Green Chamber, via their unalloyed support of the APGA candidate for the 2023 general elections.
In their separate speeches, a special guest of honor, Chief Sir Udoka Ejiako (KSM), and the Royal father of the day, Prince Noel Ezenwa (Ichie Ezemalu) Regent of Oba, extolled the people’s choice for the House of Representatives, Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, Chief Ikenna Obumneme Iyiegbu (IKE CUBANA), for prioritizing health in his agenda for prosperous mega Idemili North and South Federal Constituency.
The duo amongst other distinguished personalities present, including; the President General, Rev. Chris Emelie, further called on the good people of Idemili to support the development agenda of Chief Ikenna Obumneme Iyiegbu, by voting for APGA in the upcoming general election in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the campaign is expected to be extended to the entire Idemili North and South Federal Constituency, and Anambra State at large, in a bid to contain the exacerbating rate of malaria amongst the people in the state.
Hosted by the All Presidents General of Idemili South LGA, the event featured distributions of Insecticide Treated Nets, Speeches by the guests of honour, among others.
