A 23-year old man, Pascal Ikeh has landed in trouble in Lagos after he prepared charms to take over his boss hotel business.

The incident happened at Golden Destiny located at Awoniyi Street, Ajao Estate, Lagos where the hotel was located. The hotel is owned by one Israel Ojiekwe.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that a section of the hotel was leased out to Mr. Ikeh to manage for a fee. However, Ikeh went and prepared native charms to prevent owner, Mr Ojiekwe from demanding rent for the hotel.

It was gathered that it really worked to the extent that Ojiekwe did not demand rent from him neither did Ikeh paid the rent.
However, everything crumbled after some time as the victim realised himself after discovering the charms and handed the suspect over to the police at Ajao Estate Division.

It was learnt that the accumulated rent that Ikeh was supposed to pay had risen to N450.000 and he had no money to pay. He reportedly confessed that the charms found with him were what he used to prevent the victim from demanding the rent from him.

He was charged before Isolo Magistrates court for being in possession of the charms and stealing.

He pleaded not guilty.

Thus the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Teluwo granted him bail in the sum of N20,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The prosecutor, Mr Oje Uagbale did not object his bail condition.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 18 April, 2018.
