Chairman of Magboro Football Club, Prince Adeshina Olukoga has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance despite their failure to win their first home match in the ongoing Ikeja DFA Super League which kicked off on Tuesday across venues.
Magboro played 1-1 with Alimcity in their homeground on Wednesday.Olukoga said his team did well but they were unlucky against their opponents.
“It was a good match, they lost many scoring chances that would have converted.Despite the fact we played draw, those players deserve our commendation,”he said.
Head Coach, Shobola Abayomi also commended his players for the job well done but frowned about missing many scoring chances.
He promised that their next match would be better and urged the players to remain focused and steadfast in their subsequent matches.
In his own comment, assistant coach, Iyiola Orobola said his team started well noted that they would be better in their remaining matches.
Jonah Gabriel Onah cancelled the goal deficit in the early second half to give home team a point in their league opener.
