The newly constructed Aiyemojuba Street comes fully equipped with modern solar-powered street lights, providing enhanced security, visibility, and improved night-time mobility for residents. These street lights were generously facilitated by Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, whose continuous support for infrastructural development in Ikeja remains commendable.
The Chairman, Comrade Dauda, reaffirmed that the commissioning of Aiyemojuba Street is a reflection of his administration’s commitment to the I.K.E.J.A AGENDA; prioritizing quality roads, improved community living, and sustainable development across all wards. He emphasized that this project is one of many interventions being delivered to transform Ikeja into a model local government in Nigeria.
Residents of Onipetesi expressed appreciation to both the Council Chairman andHon. Dr James Abiodun Faleke for the timely completion of the project and the added value brought by the solar street lighting.
Present at the commissioning were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Abisola Omisore, the management and Staffs of Ikeja Local Government ably led by the HOA, Mrs. Juliana Taiwo Odubeko, party leaders from across Ikeja, CDC Chairperson, Alhaja Folami, Onipetesi CDA leadsrs and members and a host of others.
Activities marking the 100 Working Days continue, with more developmental projects are scheduled for commissioning in the coming days.
