Olawale, Sole Administrator, Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA
The Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, of the Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Ikoyi, Lagos has conducted medical checks for all her employees to enable them know the state of their health.
The gesture, a part of the celebration of the 2016 NULGE activities, took place at the council secretariat in Ikoyi, Lagos.
All the NULGE employees including the Sole Administrator, Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Mr. Felix Goke Olawale were screened for diabetics, hypertension, typhoid, fever and other ailments by experienced medical personnel.
At the end of the screening, those with the ailments were provided with drugs at the Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA Clinic while others were counseled.
Apart from the medical tests, other activities at the event include; prayer for all by both Moslem and Christian faithfuls, seminars for pension fund, work ethics for employees, road for fitness, game competition and award for the retirees and dedicated staff.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA NULGE, Comrade Oluwatoyin Oguntola, praised the Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA employees for their hard work, punctuality and dedication to duty during the year 2016. Oguntola also praised the sole administrator of Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA, Mr. Olawale, for bringing local government administration nearer to the door steps of the residents unlike before.
In his remark, the sole administrator thanked the NULGE chairman and council employees for their co-operation with him to move the Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA to a greater height.
