Ikpeazu And Pseudo Mission Of Salvation!

It smacks of hypocrisy for a character like Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State to grant an interview that went viral on one of Nigeria’s public media platforms, claiming that he and others like Samuel Ortom and Nyesom Wike are on national consultations for the best interests of Nigeria and to save the country from possible annihilation. Imagine those who have been directly responsible for Nigeria’s collapse offering us salvation. (Laughable).

I wasn’t particularly enraged by the other two’s statements, but Ikpeazu’s terrified me the most, and he was unapologetic in his mockery of Nigerians and his home state of Abia.

This is the same man who is approaching the end of his constitutionally mandated eight-year term as Governor of Abia State with no tangible legacy projects in his own community or throughout the state.

Who is Okezie Ikpeazu to appear on national television and discuss how to save Nigeria when the position of trust he has for the common people of Abia has become an albatross around the neck of poor Abians?

Okezie Ikpeazu, who was unable to free himself from the T. A. Orji and family’s godfatherism. A man who accepted the tenure in public service just for self adulation and was stupid enough to abandon destitute Abia people and their shared patrimony to the tight grip of T.A Orji.

According to reports, this same man owes civil servants more than thirty (30) months’ worth of salary. He has refused to pay employees’ wages and retirees’ life benefits and has instead forced them into poverty and an uncertain future while he, his family, and his godfathers live in luxury at the expense of the poor Abians, yet walks freely on the streets and still breaths properly. We have indeed seen enough.

Who needs to be saved between Nigeria and Okezie Ikpeazu?

Most Nigerian politicians are shameless, yet they get away with so much because the people haven’t really learned what to do with their powers.

I have always maintained that we cannot progress as a nation unless we establish clear priorities. We live in an environment where the failure of a council Chairman or a state governor is blamed on the President rather than the former.

If those who are calling for a change in government in 2023 would realize that all politics is local, and that if we are to move forward, we must first ensure that our intentions reflect on those in-charge of our local governments and states before aiming for the number one position.

Failure at the bottom of the government encourages failure at the top. The President no matter who, will still be a failure to many if those at the lower tiers are like Okezie Ikpeazu.

What type of leadership, other than what he has shown in his administration of Abia State, would a character and hypocrislte like Okezie Ikpeazu recommend to save Nigeria?

The demand for a messiah at the center would have been pertinent if the movement for a new Nigeria had concentrated on making sure that governors are active, that they permit local governments to operate independently, and that progress was made from the foundations of government since politics is local. However, with figures like Okezie Ikpeazu not receiving his proper marching orders, we are not yet sincere with the New Nigeria message.

I heard he has also bowed to the godfathers’ (T.A Orji) and family’s recommendation to accept another puppet, Okezie Ikpeazu Pro Max, in the person of fragile and morbid Ikone, who they claimed turned Abia State University into a waste bin rather than an academic institution while he was Vice Chancellor, to continue the failure of Ikpeazu and reward the Orji dynasty with another term of unrestricted access to Abians shared patrimony.

Okezie Ikpeazu should stop mocking Nigerians and instead hibernate himself, pleading with his chi to save him from alzheimer’s disease.

May help come to Abia State soon!
