A 27-year old man, Adeniyi Ajayi, arrested by the operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), Lagos Command, for raping married women and maids during operations, has told the Police that they were wasting their time by arresting him because if he is eventually sent to prison, he will come out a more hardened criminal.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Ajayi was among the suspects paraded by the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, at the State Police Command on Wednesday.
Ajayi said that it was better that he was killed than sending him to prison because he enhanced his criminal acts after he was sent to prison in 2018; he came out and started one-man robbery squad raping married women and housemaids during operations.
He admitted that on many occasions, he had assaulted married women and maids because their bosses and husband did not give him money.
“I usually go to homes with torchlight to rob. But during the operation, something will come over me and I will tie the victims with rope and rape them,” the suspect said.
Ajayi said that he decided to become a hardened criminal after he discovered that nobody wanted to assist him including his parents and so he went into crime and started living in hotels.
He said his strategy was breaking into the residences of people, forcing them to negotiate with him or run the chance of being murdered by his gang members.
Eight women, some of whom were government employees and lawyers, stormed the SARS premises when the reports of his arrest circulated throughout Sabo and its surroundings to report that during his nefarious activities he had assaulted them.
He confessed and said: “Yes, I sexually assault women whose spouses failed to offer money to me. With just the flash light, I worked alone. Yet I would instruct my imaginative gang members to be ready. I did this to make them think I’m not alone”.
“The solution to my character is for the SARS to kill me. if I’m being sent back to jail, I would become tough and come out as a more hardened criminal” he said.
The Commissioner of Police said that Ajayi and other suspects will be charged before the Court after the conclusion of investigations.

May he fine the path to truth and change from his evil ways to a better lifestyle in Jesus mighty name.
It's very sad and disheartening that a young man in his prime age has no plan for his life and future. Well, many things go wrong in this societies and we aren't ready and prepared for all these challenges. As a rehabilitation specialist, this young man can be rehabilitated if the structure is in place. In the theory of Nature and Nurture, everyone has to be blame. The parents, the society's and peer pressure. Our Government is not prepared to invest in social services. I have tried several times to alert people and the Government about rehabilitation of young people showing lack of interest towards learning and showing strong interest in crime. Imagined people talking about the Almajiri's in the Northern part of the country. The Almajiri's in Lagos State is greater in numbers compare to some other states in the North, what about Gangs and Cultism, Teenage mother's and Absentee Father's. What program do we have in place for them? Nothing. What about a majority of our young one's who are chemically dependent, with a majority having Mental Health related matters and dual diagnosis. We don't have to travel abroad, we have professionals in this country who can attend to all this issues that are trained abroad and live there for long to understand and address all the issues we are facing today.
