I’m not Surprised Akachukwu Nwankpo Is Voting For APGA /Soludo – Hon Comrade Onwumelu

Hon (Comrade) Abuchi Onwumelu (KSJI, ANIPR), the Coordinator, Media and Strategic Communications, APGA Idemili North Campaign Council’s Sub-Committee, has said that he is surprised that the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo, will vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the supplementary election holding today across Ihiala Local Government area of Anambra State.

“The news making the rounds on the social media that the ADC gubernatorial candidate,  Akachukwu Nwankpo (Oputaifeadi) is mobilizing support for Chukwuma Soludo for today’s election at Ihiala didn’t come to me as a surprise. I was not also surprised when I read that he will vote for the ruling party, APGA.” 

“I’m not surprised because I have known  Oputaifeadi to be a man of immense character and virtue. He’s a true Anambra man and he has never hidden his love for APGA as an Igbo party. His call for Ndi Ihiala to vote massively for APGA /Soludo is apt and timely. I expected him to take such a bold step by congratulating in advance the former Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).”

“Akachukwu Nwankpo has exhibited profound spirit of sportsmanship as well as his undying love for fairplay. He has through his statement respected the wishes of Ndi Anambra who voted overwhelmingly for the candidate of their choice.”

“Let me lend my voice to the call by Oputaifeadi for Ndi Ihiala to come out en masse and vote for APGA /Soludo.”
