The All Progressives Congress, APC, has emerged victorious in the recently concluded #ImoLGDecides2024 polls, winning an impressive 27 chairmanship seats and 305 councillorship positions as declared by the Imo State Electoral Commission (ISIEC).
This landslide victory is a testament to the party’s popularity and the trust that the people of Imo State have placed in the governor to always deliver for Imo people, resounding instances of good governance.
The polls have been described as the most free, peaceful and transparent LG election ever, a feat that is commendable in Nigeria’s political landscape.
Imolites have commended the #PeoplesGovernor Hope Uzodimma for providing a rancour-free environment that gave a level playing ground to all contestants as not a single incident was recorded during the elections, a testament to the governor’s commitment to peace and fairness.
