Indomie Fan Club (IFC), Nigeria’s largest children-focused platform, marked its 20th anniversary with a colourful and energetic celebration themed “A Journey of Love: Friendship Through the Years Built on Love”.

Held at the National Theatre, Iganmu, the event spotlighted two decades of impacting children through education, entertainment, and values-driven engagement.

The milestone celebration kicked off with the unveiling of the official 20th-anniversary logo. Excitement peaked as children, dressed in bright membership shirts symbolising the Indomitable superheroes in blue, orange, and yellow, marched in a joyful convoy to the venue. The spirited parade was led by select child representatives riding bicycles, setting the tone for a day filled with nostalgia, colour, and cheer.

One of the event’s high points was the introduction of the official Indomie Fan Club theme song, presented by Club Coordinator, Faith Joshua. The children quickly caught on to its upbeat rhythm and uplifting message, singing along with enthusiasm.

Speaking on the milestone, Joshua said, “The 20th anniversary is a monumental moment for us. Launching the theme song today is a symbolic way to mark it, an anthem that captures the spirit of what this club means to our children. With over 150,000 members nationwide, our journey has only just begun.”

Temitope Ashiwaju, General Manager, Corporate Communications and Events at Dufil Prima Foods, also reflected on the club’s growth: “This is no small feat. The success of the Indomie Fan Club is built on a foundation of love, trust, and community, thanks to the children, their parents, and our dedicated educators.”

Pioneer teacher, Oji Joy, shared her personal journey with the club: “Being part of this family, both as a teacher and a parent, has been amazing. Recognising teachers last year with the ‘Educator (Ed)’ title made us feel truly appreciated. The annual graduation celebration for our children is another unique tradition that sets this club apart.”

Emerald Adejuwon, 12-year-old winner of the fourth edition of ‘Team Yourself Up’, summed up the sentiment of the day: “Thank you, Indomie Fan Club, for letting us have fun, build friendships, and be celebrated like this.”

The presence of the beloved Indomitable superhero mascots, Big Boy, Stretchy, Swifty, Tweeny, and Vision, brought infectious energy to the day, as children hugged, danced, and played with their animated idols. The festivities ended with a creative flourish as the children left handprints on a “fun palm wall” in bright paint, creating a shared, permanent memory of the occasion.

Founded in 2005, the Indomie Fan Club was designed to create a vibrant learning community for children aged 4–12. Over the years, it has provided countless children with access to enriching activities like music, art, festivals, and factory tours, while also deepening their connection to learning and self-expression in a fun, engaging environment.

With two decades behind it and a future full of promise, the Indomie Fan Club remains a powerful platform for growing confident, creative, and connected young Nigerians.
