The inspiring stories of 18 remarkable Nigerian children are reaching a wider audience as the 18th Indomie Heroes Awards returns with an eight-part television series celebrating courage, selflessness, resilience, and leadership among young Nigerians.
Hosted by media personality Tomike Adeoye, the series commenced airing on 18 October 2026 across multiple television stations and Indomie Nigeria’s official YouTube channel. It spotlights the 18 finalists whose extraordinary actions have made a positive difference in their communities across the Physical, Intellectual, and Social Bravery categories.
An extension of Dufil Prima Foods Plc’s flagship Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, the series offers viewers an opportunity to discover the inspiring stories behind this year’s finalists while reinforcing a powerful message: heroism is not defined by age, but by the courage to act, the willingness to help others and the determination to make a difference.
Speaking on the initiative, Temitope Ashiwaju, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, said: “At Indomie, we believe that the potential to inspire change exists in every child. The Indomie Heroes Awards celebrates young Nigerians who have demonstrated exceptional courage, compassion and determination, often in ways that profoundly impact the people around them. By bringing their stories to television, we hope to inspire more children to recognise the power of their actions and encourage families and communities to nurture the values that make everyday heroes.”
Beyond the awards ceremony, the television series provides a platform for all 18 finalists to share their experiences with a broader audience. Through stories of kindness, community service, perseverance and achievement, the young Nigerians offer compelling examples of how individual actions can create meaningful change.
The series also creates an opportunity for families to engage with stories that promote empathy, responsibility and positive values, encouraging children to look beyond themselves and consider how they can contribute to their communities.
The eight-part series airs on NTA on Fridays at 5:00 p.m.; AIT on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m.; and Channels Television on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Episodes are also available on Indomie Nigeria’s official YouTube channel on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. Viewers can catch the series on BCOS and CTV Kano on Sundays at 5:30 p.m., and on Africa Magic Family on Sundays at 9:00 p.m.
Through the 18th edition of the Indomie Heroes Awards, Dufil Prima Foods continues to celebrate young Nigerians whose actions embody courage, compassion and the spirit of service. By bringing their stories to a national audience, the initiative aims to inspire a new generation to recognise that heroism can begin with a simple decision to do what is right.
