inDrive, a global mobility and delivery services platform, has partnered with Lagos Life, a viral browser-based game inspired by everyday life in Lagos, to become the exclusive ride-hailing service featured on the platform.
The partnership brings inDrive’s distinctive fare-negotiation model into the game, allowing players to interact with the platform’s flexible pricing approach.
The in-game cab service now features a “Book inDrive” option, alongside a fare-negotiation button that lets players see how passengers and drivers can propose and agree on fares rather than rely on fixed prices.
Commenting on the partnership, Country Manager of inDrive Nigeria, Timothy Oladimeji, said the collaboration reflects the company’s commitment to exploring innovative ways to connect with audiences and make its approach to mobility more relatable.
He added that the integration provides an opportunity to introduce inDrive’s approach to flexible pricing to a wider audience through an interactive experience rooted in the everyday realities and culture of Lagos.
“We are excited to bring the inDrive experience into Lagos Life and connect with users in a new and engaging way. At the heart of our service is the belief that people should have a say in how much they pay for a ride. By bringing this experience into a game inspired by everyday life in Lagos, we are making our approach to fair and flexible mobility part of a digital experience that resonates with the city’s culture and creativity,” he said.
