Is Prof. Soludo Really Like Pastor Ize Iyamu?

When we talk about comparing Apples and Oranges we contextually do not use the Vitamin C potentials of both fruits. They are different in many ways, especially in roots and conditioning. Unless you mean to say both are fruits which is where their common denominator exists.

Prof. Soludo and Pastor Ize Iyamu are the same, just as human. However, they differ significantly in their political trajectory, work ethic and character. And I will attempt to point out some key fundamentals in the hope that Mr Eneh Chigozie picks a lesson or two for his personal inference.

First, Prof Soludo served President Obasanjo both as his Chief Economic Adviser and then as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. Until date, one of the most outstanding commendation letters from a Boss to a previous Employee is that written by President Obasanjo to Soludo. Conversely, Pastor Ize Iyamu’s Boss has taken to official and unofficial channels telling Edo people and indeed Nigerians how bad an Employee Iyamu was under his leadership. He, in the most unashamed way, called Iyamu a Murderer and a Thief. Is this the man Eneh says bears similar fate with Soludo? Alu me lu.

Again, Soludo’s first major foray into politics was in 2010 when he ran in the Anambra Gubernatorial election as the PDP candidate. After then, he joined APGA in 2013, got disqualified in a way most politicians would consider humiliating. Did he leave the Party? No. Has he continued to grow the party ever since at all times? Yes.

For Ize Iyamu, it has been a roller coaster movement and a rancorous relationship at every turn with his estranged Boss. Iyamu’s 2020 entry into the APC was a marriage of convenience with his most ferocious enemy — Adams Oshiomhole. All Obaseki did in the build up to the election was just to replay Oshiomhole’s definition of Iyamu to Edo people. It was clear to all that a Thief, Murderer, and rusticated UNIBEN student couldn’t have become a Saint in less than 4years. To every good political analyst, Iyamo’s massive loss in 2020 was a self fulfilling prophecy.
If an Obasanjo was to be Soludo’s publicist, I am sure Ndi Anambra would be proud of their Son much more than any other time in history. To help Mr. Eneh, Ize Iyamu’s fate comes close to just one Politician in our recent history, and that Politician is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Soludo is in a class of his own. With an Iron clad integrity, impeccable work ethic and an accomplished professional background, Prof. Soludo is an example of excellence.

This is the truth. Verifiable truth. Ndi Anambra world over are super proud of the imminence of a Soludo Governorship. You can ask around.
