The SSA on New Media to Gov Chukwuma Soludo, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, has reeled out the beauty of his principal’s two years in office.
In a chat with P.M.EXPRESS correspondent, Mazi Ejimofor highlighted the fact that Gov Soludo has achieved so much in the State without borrowing.
He hinted that the following had been part of his principal’s achievements within two years:
— Employed 5000 Teachers, with 3000 more underway
— Employed 300 Health Workers with 500 more underway
— Building over 400km of Urban and Rural roads
— Building 4 New General Hospitals
— Increased Civil Servants Salary by 10%
— Distributed 1million Palm and Coconut Seedlings to Households in Anambra State
— Free Antenatal and Delivery for Pregnant Women in Anambra State
— Free Education for ALL Public School Students from Nursery 1 to JSS 3.
— Empowered 5000 youths with multiple skills and 2billion Naira Interest Free start up grant.
— Free Health Insurance for Keke Riders and Commercial Bus Drivers
— Tax Exemption for Petty Traders and low level artisans
— Construction of New Government House and Governor’s lodge in Awka, the State capital.
— Training of 20,000 youths on Digital skills
— Launch of Free Wi-Fi services in major locations in Awka.
— Resuscitation and Provision of Public water supply in Okpoko, Awka and Onitsha
— Restoration of Security in 8 Local Government hitherto under the control of criminal UGM.
— Restoration of Law and Order in the Traditional Institution and Town Union systems.
