It’s Digital O’Clock As Anambra East E-Services Website Officially Goes Live

Umunne m, I am happy to announce to you that the website, which has been undergoing beta testing over the past 3 weeks is now officially opened.

The portal is designed to simplify tasks in the Local Government administration and to bring our services closer to the people, regardless of their area of residence.

The launch of this website marks a significant milestone in our mandate to improve service delivery and engage with our constituents effectively and in line with the “everything technology, technology everywhere” mantra of the Solution Government of Prof Charles Soludo.

The website features several interfaces that allow residents to access various services with ease. These interfaces include Street Name Registration, Local Government Identification Certificate, Marriage Registration, Clubs/Association Registrations, and Waste Management Levy, also access to information and feedback, Etc.

Let’s take a closer look at each of these interfaces and what they offer.

A. The Street Name Registration interface enables residents to register their street names, which is a crucial step in ensuring that they are recognized by the local government. This interface makes it easy for residents to submit their information, get approval and receive their street name registration certificates digitally.

B. The Local Government Identification Certificate interface allows residents to obtain their local government identification certificates quickly. This certificate is essential for various purposes, including opening bank accounts, obtaining government services, and participating in elections.

C. The Marriage Registration interface simplifies the process of registering marriages. Residents can complete the registration process online without having to visit the local government council’s office physically. This interface saves time and reduces the hassle associated with the traditional marriage registration process.

D. The Clubs/Association Registrations interface enables residents to register their clubs and associations with the local government council. This interface is beneficial for organizations looking to access government services or apply for grants.

E. Finally, the Waste Management Levy interface is designed to educate and show our pathway on waste management and help residents pay their waste management levies online. This interface simplifies the payment process, eliminates the need for physical visits to the local government council or banks and improves the efficiency of waste management services.

Each registration generates an eternal unique code that distinguishes your certificate from another. The essence of this unique code is to eliminate the era of agboro (touts), fake and illegal certificates.

The launch of the Anambra East Local Government Council’s E-service website is a significant step towards improving service delivery and engaging with our constituents effectively. The various interfaces of the website make it easy for everyone, from any part of the world, to access the services they need without the stress of physical visits to the council’s office.
