It’s Nigeria vs Morocco In Opening Match Of Aisha Buhari Cup 2021

Super Falcons of Nigeria have been grouped alongside Morocco and Mali as the draws for the Dr. Aisha Buhari Invitational Women’s Football Tournament (Aisha Buhari Cup 2021) was held on Wednesday in Lagos.

The tournament, which is being held in honour of Nigeria’s First lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari, will kick off on 10 October in Lagos.

Nigeria will play the opening match against the Moroccan ladies on 10 October.

In Group B are the Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon, Ghana and Bayana Bayana of South Africa, who will play their games at Agege Stadium.

The Director of Organisation of the tournament, Aisha Falode, had earlier in the day announced at the Australian Hall, Eko Hotel in Lagos venue of the draw ceremony that the gates will be thrown open for the 10 day competition.
