The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD, in continuation of her consultations with people of the Senatorial District on 2nd January, 2023, attended the Umubialla Village Assembly meeting in Agulu, Anaocha LGA.
Speaking at the meeting, Ekwunife thanked the people of Agulu for their unflinching support, adding that Agulu community has never disappointed her in all the election she participated.
The Federal Lawmaker, who holds the Chieftaincy title of Ugomba Agulu, stated that she attracted Federal University of Science, Technology and Innovation in Agulu, facilitated 19 pensionable employment to Agulu youths and revived the infrastructural development in Agulu Community.
The Senator explained that the people of the village have a duty to reward her good deeds with their support. She urged them to avoid listening to propaganda from people who have nothing to show for the opportunities given to them by the people.
Ekwunife encouraged the people of Agulu that the Umuowelle Village Road has been re-awarded and the contractor, who is a son of Agulu, promised to complete the project soon.
The Federal Lawmaker appealed to the village to support her in consolidating her good services, promising to do more for the people.
In his reaction, the Chairman of Umubialla Village, Hon. Ugochukwu Okafor, thanked the Senator for attending their meeting and declared that the Umubialla-Umuowelle Road has been re-awarded. He extolled the Senator for her wonderful achievements in Agulu and declared that the community will vote Ekwunife to complete her projects in Anambra Central Senatorial District.
An elder statesman in the Village, Chief Emmanuel Anyanwu, prayed to God to grant the people-friendly Senator victory in the February elections.
