Legendary Nigerian actor and movie director, Prince Jide Kosoko has felicitated with the immediate past Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Prince Kosoko in a statement on Wednesday, said it is his pleasure to wish Fashola, a former Governor of Lagos State, a happy birthday and wish him many more fruitful years on earth.
According to him, Fashola, since he burst into public life and offices, has been a bastion of encouragement, trailblazing performance and a great example of how public office could be used in advancing the course of the society and humanity.
In the statement, Prince Kosoko said: “It gladdens my heart to wish my brother, the former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola a hearty 60th birthday.
“Fashola, over the years, has proven that public office can be used for the good of the people and the society. This, he showed as the governor of Lagos State for eight years and a super minister for another eight years. Those who were privileged to come across him at close quarters will testify to his unassuming nature and uncommon commitment to the cause of society and humanity.
“On the occasion of his 60th birthday, I can only wish him many more years in good health, more productive years in the service of humanity and greater heights in his personal and public endeavours.”
