At the ongoing 15th International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Air Services Negotiation (ICAN 2023) event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, engaged in a crucial meeting with His Excellency, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Duailj, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, attended by officials from the Aeronautical Authorities of both nations and representatives from airlines in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, addressed key issues related to the 2023 Hajj operations.

In the spirit of collaboration, it was resolved that a joint committee comprising representatives from both countries would convene on a weekly basis. This committee’s primary objective is to facilitate ongoing communication, address any emerging issues promptly, and work towards achieving a successful and well-coordinated 2024 Hajj season.
