Dr. Amy Jadesinmi, CEO, LADOL

Leading logistics and engineering company, Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics (LADOL) has continued to earn more plaudits owing to its commitment to local content through its investment of $500 million into building the only 100 per cent Nigerian private industrial free zone in West Africa.
In continuation of that feat, the company has scored another double honour as it has been recognised by the Oxford Business Group and as well as bagging an award from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo).
According to an Oxford Business Group report, the company under the leadership of Dr. Amy Jadesimi was listed as one of the Nigerian free zones offering a multitude of incentives for investors.
The Oxford Business Group acknowledged LADOL as “a custom-built, fully integrated, secure and independent engineering and logistics base in LADOL Free Zone, set up for the provision of logistical, engineering and other support services for deep water offshore oil and gas exploration.”

“LADOL is strategically positioned at the entrance to Lagos harbour and provides a one-stop shop for multinational industrial and oil and gas companies operating in West Africa.

It added, “The zone is managed by Global Resource Management Free Zone Company, and accommodates a range of local and foreign enterprises.”
At the just concluded NNPC/SNEPCO Nigerian content supplier exhibition, LADOL also bagged two awards as the Most Improved Value Joint Award and Most Technologically Innovative/Responsive Award.
The exhibition had as its theme, In Country manufacturing, Indigenous Asset Ownership and Competitive Local Alternatives.
