A 26-year old lady, Ati Gift, has landed in trouble after she was said to have defecated in front of her rival, Uchegbu Mary’s door during a quarrel in their house in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Adeyinka Street off Suru Mogaji Road, Ilupeju area of Lagos, where they reside.
She has been arrested for the unruly conduct.
The Police alleged the lady, Gift, to have vented her anger on Mary after they quarrelled over an undisclosed matter. Early in the morning, at about 5am, she went to the doorstep of the victim and defecated there but she was caught in the process.
This caused another fight and in the process, Gift was said to have poured hot water on the victim and she sustained serious injures on her body.
The matter was reported to the Police and she was was arrested. Having been found culpable after interrogation, she was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged conduct likely to cause breach of public peace and assault on the victim.
When she was arraigned, she pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, asked the Court to give a date for hearing to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. K. A. Ariyo, granted her bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She was remanded in custody at the Correctional Centre, Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions while the matter was adjourned till 17th March, 2022, for mention.
