A 36-year old lady, Kassy Erhabor, has landed in trouble in Lagos after she allegedly lured a 17-year old girl and penetrated her private part with her fingers in order to satisfy her sexual desire.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that she has been arrested over sexual assault.
The incident happened at Dogwood Estate, Chevron, Lekki area of Lagos.
The Police alleged the suspect to have lured the girl to her apartment, fondled her breasts and attempted to penetrate her private part. The girl was said to have resisted and the suspect then assaulted her by flogging and eventually had her way.
Having satisfied herself, she allowed her to go but the girl, who was traumatized over her conduct, went to the Police and reported the dastardly act.
The suspect was then arrested and having been found culpable, she was subsequently charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for sexual assault, which attracts several years of imprisonment if she is tried and found guilty before the Court of Law.
When she was arraigned, the Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubeinje, ordered her remand in custody and directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.
The matter was adjourned till 25th January, 2022, for the report of the DPP to be available, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
