The incident happened 5th June, 2024, at computer village, Ikeja area of Lagos, where she allegedly saw the complainant, Lynda Nwokorie and started recording her.
The motive behind her plan to record the lady was not disclosed by the Police to know if she actually wanted to blackmail the complainant before she was caught.
According to the Police, the suspect saw the complainant at the place and started recording her. And while she was doing so, the complainant saw her and asked to know why she was recording her with her phone camera but she did not give satisfactory responses.

After interrogation, the Police found her culpable for recording the victim in an attempt to expose her to an undisclosed person and consequently charged her before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
However, she pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Supol Akeem Raji, then asked the Court to give a date for hearing as she pleaded not guilty to enable the Police to prove that she actually committed the alleged offence.

The matter was adjourned for mention while the defendant was remanded in custody at the correctional center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.
