The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, LAGESC, has urged its corps members to embrace professionalism with due diligence while carrying out their assigned duties in the State.
Speaking at the Command Headquarters of the Agency during a special prayer session to usher in the Year 2020, the Corps Marshal of the Agency, CP Gbemisola Akinpelu (rtd), represented by the Deputy Corps Marshal (Intelligence), Mr. Ganiyu Salami admonished officers to be disciplined while discharging their lawful duties of ensuring strict compliance with the Environmental Laws of the State.
According to him, the Agency is geared towards improving the capacity development and provision of welfare as well as motivate officers to perform better towards achieving effective service delivery in line with the mandate of the present administration, emphasising that the Agency will not condone any form of misconduct, extortion or absenteeism.
In her remarks, the Executive Secretary, Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), Mrs. Idowu Mohammed implored officers to display competency and show absolute respect for the rule of law during the discharge of their functions, promising to ensure that the Agency’s request will be upscaled for increased development.
