Lagos Assembly Aspirant Congratulates Sanwo-Olu, Hon. Olowo

A staunch member of All Progressive Congress, APC, and Lagos State House of Assembly aspirant, Somolu Constituency 1, Hon. Maryam Owolabi-Bada has congratulated the winner of Lagos state gubernatorial election at the just concluded poll few days ago, Mr Babajide Sanwo- Olu who defeated his opposition Mr Jimi Agbaje of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with a wide margin to win the mandate.
The excited Bada said that she was really happy that Sanwo-Olu and many other APC candidates won as projected which she sees as a rare opportunity for them to make Lagos state greater again.
She adds: “Without mincing words, I sincerely congratulate Mr Babajide Sanwi-Olu on his victory at the poll which indicates that he’s the chosen one among many contenders to propel the state of excellence to the next level.
“It’s my prayer that God in His infinite mercy grant him and his team the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to enable him lead the state ashore.”
In the same vein, she also congratulated Hon. Rotimi Olowo who triumphed at the poll returning to represent Somolu Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly making it his fourth time as an a Lagos lawmakers.
“Hon. Olowo, no doubt, is one of the experienced politicians we have around and we’re proud of him. He’s a man of the people that’ll win again and again if given the chance owing to his exemplary character and leadership traits which often time endear him to the people and win him the “winnables” when and where necessary.”
She also congratulated the two other winners, Hon. Ademorin Kuye and Hon. Rotimi Abiru who will representing Somolu as lawmakers at the federal and state level respectively.
Bada, however, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), all the political groups, the youths and the security agencies for putting the interest of the nation first thereby bringing about a successful 2019 elections.
