After concluding rooky matches in the ongoing Lagos State Challenge Cup, Jimmy Football Academy, Ante Football Club,Maryland United and others would begin their campaigns in the first round of the competition across two centres in the state.
In the first round fixtures released by the organisers,seven matches would hold on Tuesday as Jimmy battle Power of The Cross FC by 9am as Maryland United take on Depros by 11am.All the two matches would be played at the legacy pitch, Surulere.
At the maracana stadium in Ajegunle, five matches have been lined up at the centre as CATS face Zion International by 8am,Bucknors tackle Chekas United by 9:30am, Utility Sports confront GSC by 11am, as ECAS face City of Lagos by 12:30pm, while Raymond Remmy tackle Nakamura Strickers by 2pm.
Action continues on Wednesday as four matches would hold at maracana stadium.Ante face Tico by 8am, sporting club heritage would keep a date with Ghetto Tigers by 9:30am, Billionaire Academy clash with Crowned Academy by 11am as Smart City feeders take on Lion Heart by 12:30pm.
Two matches would also hold at the FIFA legacy pitch as Future Pro tackle Olusosun United by 9am,while SGH Sports battle M22 FC by 11am.
The winners in each game would proceed to the second round of the competition.Dannaz FC are the current champions after defeating Ottasolo FC in the last year’s FA Cup.
