Lagos Police Boss Parades 40 Suspected Criminals

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni on Monday paraded 40 suspected criminals arrested in various areas in the State.
The suspects were paraded at the Police Command in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria.
Among those paraded were a self acclaimed female pastor who was involved in human trafficking, fake nurse, cultists, pick-pockets, armed robbers, fraudsters and others.
While parading the suspects, CP Owoseni  said the police are doing their best to ensure that criminals have no hiding place in the state.
He said it was through the efforts of the officers at both the divisions and commands that those suspects were apprehended and arrested at their various hideouts in the state.
He said the criminals will not rest as well as the police who will ensure there is peace in Lagos.
He said the police have embraced more technological method to fish out criminals and that was why crime rate has drastically reduced in the state.
Owoseni also thanked the members of the public for their cooperation and understanding by given the police useful information.
Some of the suspects who were paraded confessed that they actually committed the offence while some said they were victim of circumstance.
