LUCKY LAWAL

The Lagos State Anti Robbery Squad, SARS, has already complied with the directive of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim Idris, compelling all the formations of SARS to start wearing their uniforms in compliance with the new overhauling directive of the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

Sequel to the order given by the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, for the overhaul of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, handed down directives to its immediate overhauling to address complaints and allegations of human rights violations against some of its personnel.

As contained in the directive by the police boss, it involved the redesigning of new uniforms with identity name tag for all FSARS personnel throughout the country and wearing their official uniform.
