The Lagos State Government will today Sunday, 8th January 2023, at 3:30 pm hold the State Annual Thanksgiving Service at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Race Course, Lagos.
The 23rd edition of the Annual Thanksgiving Service with the theme: “Praising The Name of God” will have the General-Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and Ministers of the Gospel from various churches in the State, minister at the inter-denominational Service.
A statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso stated in line with tradition, the First Family of Lagos State, will lead Lagosians in prayers and songs of praise to usher in the new year.
The event will be beamed live on major television and online media platforms.
According to him, thousands of residents are expected to be part of the inter-faith and inter-denominational Thanksgiving Service.
The Lagos State Annual Thanksgiving Service was initiated over two decades ago in the year 2000 during the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
