Lagos Traffic Radio: Most Outstanding Radio Station In Nigeria – PSSDC

The Director-General, Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC), Adekunmilola Adio-Moses, has described the Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1fm as the most outstanding radio station in Nigeria, considering its top-notch service delivery.

The PSSDC Boss, who stated this when he led the management staff of the Agency on a familiarisation and courtesy visit to the station recently, called for an advanced collaboration with Lagos Traffic Radio in capacity building for Public Servants by creating awareness on the importance of Traffic Laws and the Integrated Inter-modal Transport system of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration and digitalisation of learning through the PSSDC Learning Management System, among others.

In his remarks, the General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio, Tayo Akanle appreciated the PSSDC for his commendation based on the Station’s achievements and positive impact on listeners, noting that the unprecedented achievements recorded by Traffic Radio were based on consistency in service delivery which has helped set a standard for the station among its peers in Nigeria.

Akanle, who acknowledged the vital role of PSSDC towards the capacity building of Public Servants, said the Station’s Daily listener has increased from 800, 000 in 2018 to up to 2,000,000 now and has also witnessed tremendous growth on its Social Media Platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

He averred that the Station has added value to the lives of Lagosians positively and will continue to do so by ensuring they spend less time in traffic through prompt delivery of travel advisories on the Roads, Waterways and Railways.

Informing that the station had partnered with the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) for daily updates for train passengers before the establishment of Lagos Blue Rail, the General Manager urged Lagosians to be on the lookout for more updates on the Lagos Blue Line as soon as it commences operation and the Red Line when completed.
