It was an atmosphere of pomp and pageantry as LASACO ASSURANCE PLC glamorously celebrated its ‘End of the Year Party’ with excitement on the faces of the Management, Board of Directors and the members of staff of the organisation in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the MD/CEO, Mr. Razzaq Abiodun, expressed his excitement about the success of the company and stated thus:  “I thank the Almighty God for making us see this day to celebrate in style the LASACO’s GALA NIGHT”.
“It was actually meant to be between the management and the staff, but having realized how far we have come, imperatively, it is not out of place to invite clients, friends and partners to be part of this celebration, the first of its kind in our organization. Of a truth, what I have seen our staff display today depicts we have talented and creative people at LASACO. What an insurance man sells is intangible products and it will take an organized personality to convince potential buyers to key into our products and services.”
“We have done well this year and I believe we will do greatly better in 2023 and the reason for this can be decrypted from the cordial relationship we have with our Board of Directors, which has impacted positively on our earnings and corporate outlook.”
“LASACO has reached a milestone, we are creating waves and have also adopted creative ways in operating our business including aptly managing our clients. Over 40 years of the company’s existence, it has been waxing stronger, hence, today is not about work or racking our brains, but basically for us to celebrate and ‘jollify’. All works without play makes Jack a dull boy.”
Albeit, Mr. Razzaq said, “To celebrate everyone that has been part of our success stories, we say a big thank you. For a 2023 and the future, LASACO is to become stronger with efficient workforce, technology and improved dividends to our shareholders”.
“Though businesses in 2022 had some negative effects of COVID-19 for speedy recovery coupled with recession, but as an organization that is progressive-minded, we turned the situation to an advantageous one and this is one of the reasons we are here today celebrating, in fact, we have been rated GCRA and surely we will do more in the area of business diversification, so as to increase our financial base.”
The Chairman of LASACO, Chief Mrs. Olateju Philips, who was ably represented by Engr Sani Ndanusa, an Independent Non-Executive Director of the company, in his statements, he said, “LASACO is overtaking the insurance industry. I am standing to represent the Chairman and she is equally congratulating all of us, especially the management and all staff for the job well done towards the end of the year 2022”.
“We worked very hard and ended the year with a fabulous performance and positive results to show, which was what birthed the celebration, I am glad. We are indeed becoming a major force in the industry, because the Board of Directors are also working day and  night to put their thinking caps on. This year, like the previous, really ended on a good note for us. Once again, a big congratulations to every LASACO Family Member”.
LASACO Assurance is one of the leading insurance companies in Nigeria with several decades in the industry.
