No fewer than 292 Candidates sat for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) Entrance Examination into the Department of Midwifery, Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, for the Year 2021 Academic Session on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
Addressing the candidates before the commencement of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted at the Lagos State University (LASU) CBT Centre in line with all safety COVID-19 protocols, the Provost of the College, Mrs. Oyefunso Orenuga, urged the candidates to conduct themselves responsibly and be mindful of the fact that success in the examination will lead to a professional career (Midwifery) that deals with the sanctity of human life.
While reiterating the need to always make use of their face mask, maintain physical distance, wash their hands with soap and water or make use of hand sanitiser to avoid contacting COVID-19, she wished the participants luck in the examination.
“No one will be allowed into the examination hall without proper use of their face mask. It is your responsibility to observe all safety COVID-19 protocols as stipulated by the government in order to curb the spread of the second wave of this deadly pandemic in Lagos State”, Mrs. Orenuga said.
The examination was monitored by delegates from the Office of the Special Adviser on Education (OSAE); Directorate of Nursing Services, Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Health Service Commission (HSC).
Recall that forms for admission into the department of Midwifery, Lagos State College of Nursing were sold online from December 1, 2020, to January 7, 2021.
