Lagos, the commercial nerve centre of Nigeria, is set to play host to Legends Basketball Summer Camp and Elite Tournament.
The Summer Camp and Elite Tournament will hold from 18th – 21st August, 2021, at the Nigerian Police Training College, Ikeja area of Lagos.
The Summer Camp, which will take place between 8am – 12pm, will feature drill for fundamental and skill development, attack the basket, advanced defense techniques, proper footwork, shot correction, scrimmaging with correction, one on one ladders, agility and physical conditioning, relays and competitions.
Registration fee is N1, 500.
Awards and trophies will be given to the best players and winning teams. There are also gift items, boots, t-shirts, and many more awards.
While the Legends Elite Tournament, which is expected to take place between 3pm – 7pm, will feature 3×3 Tournament with the winner expected to go home with N150, 000. There will also be the Dunk contest with the winner expected to receive N50, 000, while the winner of the Skills showcase will smile home with N50, 000 and the winner of the the 3 Points shooting will also receive N50, 000.
The registration fee for the 3×3 Elite Tournament is N7, 500 only.
Awards and trophies will equally be given to MVP, the 2nd and 3rd place followed by cash prizes and many more gifts.
Free t-shirts are available for boys and girls, Under 10 to Under 16.
