The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is gearing up for a momentous event as supporters, faithful members, and leaders of the party are set to gather at the iconic Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka on Saturday, September 21. This highly anticipated mega rally is strategically scheduled ahead of the upcoming local government elections and is expected to be a powerful demonstration of the party’s unity, strength, and inclusive spirit encapsulated in the Igbo adage, “onye aghana nwanne ya!”
Governor Soludo, the national leader of the party, as well as Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the national chairman, will lead an impressive lineup of national and state leaders who will be warmly received amidst resounding cheers and festivities resembling a carnival.
As the crowd eagerly anticipates their arrival, supporters and faithful members will fill the air with spirited songs and lively dances as they struggle to catch a glimpse of the gathering. The atmosphere will be electrified with praises for the party’s 21 local government chairmanship candidates, their deputies, the 326 ward counselorship candidates, and the APGA government’s development strides across the state. The supporters will take over the avenues of the new government house, the governor’s lodge, and the bustling streets of Aroma, creating an atmosphere of celebration and anticipation.
