TEMITOPE AJAYI
By becoming the 4th nation in the world to land on the moon and the first on the South Pole, India has, again, shown us the power of ambition and big dreams. This is what happens when a nation is development-centric, determined to succeed on all fronts and the elite coalesce behind a national purpose.
Like India, Nigeria can achieve big and great things with leaders who are willing and prepared to break all barriers. After all, history is on our side. Western Nigerian Government launched a TV service on October 31, 1959, ahead of many European countries. In fact, only three European countries had television before Nigeria.
Nigeria is set for a new era of all-round development with President Bola Tinubu. He is ready to release the creative energy of our young people and leverage the reach, resourcefulness and wisdom of the older segment of our population to make our country a true giant of Africa that will command the admiration and respect of the world.
